News and Updates

HEY FAMLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't even know where to begin to start -

As we all know by now, Jennifer and Nick are having a baby!! After a visit to the dr. yesterday we have a due date of Oct. 3; another October celebration! They didn't get to hear the heartbeat but did see the baby moving around and see the heart beating. I am very excited about the prospect of a small mind to explore life with again! It was quite the surprise when they shared the news, I had no idea that they were even thinking about it, much less trying. It should be a fun time for all, and will keep you posted on the details.

We had my mom, sister and neice here last weekend for a visit, always nice to see them!

The mutts are all doing well, and send wags and licks to everybody. They all had their checkups last week and everyone is absolutely perfect, of course.

Last Saturday was a milestone for us here. 10 years ago on 2-16-97, I laid eyes on and fell in love with the most perfect human on the planet for me. It is still the most amazing thing to me, and I love him more that I could ever imagine every single day. Time has flown and I wouldn't change one single second of it!

Work is still the most amazing thing I have ever done. It is hard to believe that I have been here at Healthy Paws for almost 1 year now. It has been the hardest, physically as well as mentally and emotionally, work that I have ever done. I so wish I had this oportunity 20 years ago, I love it so much! I am in week 2 of my surgical training and should have 2 - 3 more weeks of training, then I will be in the surgical rotation as well. It is really cool. I plan on testing for my CVA II in the next month or so, I am really excited about that. Check us out at http://www.healthypawsveterinarycenter.com/ . OK, enough of that, yes I LOVE my job and could babble on about it for hours and days and weeks and...you get it.

The house is wonderful, we feel so at home here. The neighborhood is nice and quiet - except for the beagle on the other side of our fence :( We are working on getting the yard in shape, ridding the planet of weeds a little at a time, and dreaming about how we will do landscaping one day. It is so nice to know that this is ours to do with as we please. There is also a LOT to be said for a 3 minute commute to work - again...LUCKY ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's start to try and plan the next visit. If sometime during summer won't work, maybe an early Thanksgiving so that you can see the baby. Her (yes I said her, I refuse to consider a boy!) welcome to the family wouldn't be complete without her Aunt Laura humming to her and Uncle Mikey picking at her!

OK, the dryer is done, and I have plants to water, so I should go now. I love you all - Hugs and Kisses for everybody!!
