so i got an e-mail that...well, as far as i could decipher, was a hint to blog so here I am. Mikey has been sick today so i made him stay home from work and school.

school is going well--we have a few weeks left before we take a Wednesday through Friday off and take the sophomore class to DC for our annual sophomore trip. its actually really exciting, especially since Mikey is going and we are unexpectedly both getting to go for free. we'll have to chaperone the occasionally *ha ha* immature 10th grader, but we will get to see lots of the stuff we want to see in DC (we both have never been before) for an exceptional price ;).

we are starting to think about next year and our living situation and it seems that we will be putting the house thing on hold again. there is an opportunity to rent an upstairs apartment from some people we really love here in Greensboro, and that is appealing to us, even though it is considerably smaller. our aim would be to save lots of money, pay off some of our loans and then find the house of our dreams. well...the house of our married-three-years-no-kids-dreams :).

speaking of house of dreams...cant wait to see y'alls! we are excited to come see you in Texas soon.

speaking of terrible football season...well, i am now anyway. what a disappointment! and my first ever fantasy team was trampled due to unforeseeable freak accidents...even though i had really good players. oh well. we are very sad about the Superbowl and, in Mikey's words: what a waste of a season.

other than the above, i don't have much to say, and there isn't anything new going on. but i WILL certainly keep you all posted!
